Leuven University, where Erasmus of Rotterdam studied in the 16th century, has been a hotbed of the latest thinking for almost 600 years. Keeping up with the latest ideas is also important to the estates management department, who recently had the heating centre for the university’s Faculty of Literature and Philosophy brought right up to date with Weishaupt oil burners.
