Regional Sales Manager - ON


The Weishaupt Group has about 3400 employees and is a market leader for burners, condensing boilers, heat pumps, solar energy, and building automation.

Weishaupt offers an extensive range of burners and complete heating systems. Its heating systems encompass both gas and oil-fired condensing boilers, as well as solar systems and heat pumps that utilize renewable energy sources.

Weishaupt Corporation, the head office for North America, is located in Mississauga, ON is amongst the world’s market leaders in burners, heating and condensing systems. We are experiencing quite some growth, and are currently building a new head office, just minutes away from our current location. 

Our office in Mississauga, ON, has currently an opening for a Regional Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage geographically diverse sales region of Ontario.
  • Interact with customers to understand their requirements and sell high end goods or services which meet their interests. Interact with other sales managers to discuss project needs and provide input.
  • Maintain and develop sales channels including manufacturer’s representatives, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), end users and other strategic alliances.
  • Assist in the sales process by educating representatives, consultants and others through group presentations, face-to-face meetings and trade shows.
  • Develop engineering specifications and assist representatives with documentation and technical requirements throughout the sales cycle.
  • Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.
  • Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
  • Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities.
  • Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Accomplish marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Maintain current knowledge of standards, emissions requirements and common practices in all areas of the region.

 

Travel within the region is required.

Reporting Structure

The position of the Regional Sales Manager, Canada reports directly to the OEM Manager NA. The position has no direct reports.

The position has regular contact with customers, vendors, internal staff and other external third parties.
