The Weishaupt Thermo Condens WTC-GW B gas-fired condensing boiler was named as the winner of the Excellent Product Design/Energy cateogry. The jury noted: "The reconceived Weishaupt Thermo Condens WTC-GW B condensing boiler has been styled with an eye to achieving an original and minimalistic appearance. The design expresses the unit’s high-quality, state-of-the-art technology and underscores the product philosophy of the Weishaupt organisation. All of its operating controls are conveniently arranged behind an aluminium flap. Current system status is displayed via an innovative strip of coloured light on the front of the condensing boiler."

This prestigious award takes its place among the many national and international prizes that the Upper Swabian heating equipment manufacturer, Weishaupt, has won for outstanding product design since the 1960s.
